The Joy of Clojure: Thinking the Clojure Way – Book Review

This review is based on an MEAP version of the book, which means that it is a work in progress and not all of the chapters are available yet. So, my remarks might not be relevant to the final version. Even though the entire book is not available yet, the chapters that are out are good and offer practical and useful information for those who are willing to learn clojure and understand 'the clojure way'.

HTML5, Up and Running – Review

The bottom line: If you are going to get only one book on HTML5 this would be at the head of the list. Further, if you want to better understand current and historical HTML, this book is a big help with its clear explanations. The book will help you understand the older standards, compatibility issues, and solutions. Mark writes very clearly and this book is a pleasure to read, which is not true of many tech books.

This book provides a comfortable way to learn quickly how to work with Firebug with many important languages like HTML, DOM, JavaScript, CSS and Ajax. Through steps instructions and not overwhelming heavy theory. The content offers a good basis for beginners with Firebug.
